Centinela Hospital Medical Center

This project included the seismic reinforcement of the hospital followed by lower-level interior remodel. The seismic work required the demolition of existing concrete and soils to a depth of 14’ below finished floor.

The work was completed while maintaining a fully operational and safe facility that met OSHPD’s stringent environmental requirements and the doctors operating schedule, with minimal interruption to the patients. This required an unfaltering commitment to the project schedule and constant communication between hospital personnel, Day Construction and the construction team.
