Plaza Pacifica Shopping Center

The Plaza Pacifica Shopping Center totals 435,000 square foot on a 55 acre site in San Clemente, CA. This project included site utilities, construction of shop buildings including tenant improvements, a new Michaels store and complete landscaping of the grounds.

The City of San Clemente’s mandate for a storm water pollution program and a system to pre-filter waste water from the construction and rain were very important considerations for this project. The site team ensured all waste water met the City’s criteria by implementing a filter process in the pipes to eliminate debris and construction material. Despite inclement weather, Day Construction’s two week look ahead schedule process guaranteed the buildings were ready for turnover to the tenants.
