DAY CONSTRUCTION COMPANY BREAKS GROUND ON BRAND NEW ROBINSONS-MAY
First Time Ever Department Store in Irvine Spectrum
(Irvine, CA) February 7, 2002 - Day Construction Company recently
announced it will begin construction of a new Robinsons-May
Department store in the Irvine Spectrum. A respected name
in retailing, Robinsons-May will be the first department store
to be located in the Spectrum.
Designed to complement the county’s premier shopping
entertainment center which includes 21 theatres, specialty
shops and many fine restaurants, the free standing 140,000
square foot department store will be built in the existing
parking area just east of the center. “We have successfully
built new and remodeled stores for Robinsons-May over the
past 19 years,” said Gary Day, Founder and President
of Day Construction. “A new state-of-the-art Robinsons-May
within the Irvine Spectrum will be just one more reason why
residents and visitors alike will find shopping fun and enjoyable,”
added Day.
